We’re very excited to be launching our very first Fishing Raffle. The prize, kindly donated by Orvis UK, is a spectacular day’s fishing for 6 Rods on the flagship 'Ginger Beer' beat along the River Test in Hampshire.

The GWCT welcomes the proposed amendments to the government’s Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill (LURB) that would add chalk streams into the definitions of ‘environmental protection’ and ‘natural environment’ in the bill, meaning that the government must consider chalk streams when setting the outcomes that will form the framework of environmental assessments in the future.

The IFM’s Sea Trout Symposium will be held in Cardiff on the 12^th and 13^th of September at the Angel Hotel.

The Missing Salmon Alliance (MSA) invite the public to join them for an evening in conversation with key UK conservationists to talk about the situation facing our UK chalk streams and the species and biodiversity within these environments.
