Making the call to congratulate William Gardiner on his success in winning the 2018 Grand Grouse Draw was the highlight of draw organiser Iona’s GWCT year. William was quite taken by surprise and overwhelmed by his good fortune. William has been a member for several years and has enjoyed the excitement of shooting grouse before, both over pointers and driven. He is delighted to have won such a “fantastic Christmas present” and looking forward to working out who to invite to join him in his success.
William has won a day’s driven grouse shooting for nine guns on Glenogil Estate in the Angus glens to be taken in the 2019 season. Glenogil Estate is known for its spectacular scenery and for very high standards in game and wildlife conservation management, satisfying both the sportsman and naturalist. Along with his team of friends and their partners, he will also enjoy a night in the estate’s luxurious Redheugh lodge. Dinner and breakfast will be included, where they will be treated to delicious food using the finest locally sourced produce.
