Abstract

The preference of rabbits, hares and deer for double zero varieties of oilseed rape was tested under natural farmland conditions where wild animals had access to single and double zero varieties. All three species showed some preference for double zero crops, and this was most marked with respect to the Brown hare. There was no evidence of any unusual mortality.
