Predation management is an important part of wildlife management in the British countryside and over many years of research GWCT science has demonstrated the part it can play in helping conserve vulnerable species, such as ground nesting birds.

To demonstrate due diligence and meet the expectations of modern society, predation management must be delivered to high standards to ensure not only efficiency but also welfare and humaneness demands are met.

On this course, attendees will receive comprehensive training covering both the theory and practicalities of predation management including current legislation and best practice thinking. The modules are delivered with a strong emphasis on the practical application of predation management on the ground.
