Together with Rotherfield farms we’ve organised a special farm walk at the Rotherfield demonstration project in Hampshire.
The walk is taking place on the afternoon of Wednesday 3rd May and it will provide a great opportunity to learn about the Rotherfield grey partridge recovery demonstration project and the Interreg PARTRIDGE project.
During the walk there will be particular focus on suitable habitat creation for farmland wildlife recovery using measures available under the current Agri-environment Schemes.
The walk will be led by Joseph Edward (estate manager at Rotherfield farms), Tim Furbank (game cover seed supply specialist for Oakbank Game & Conservation), Harold Makant (lead advisor at Natural England, Winchester) and Dr Francis Buner (senior conservation scientist for the GWCT).
The meeting point is Colemore Church at 14:30h, post code GU34 3RX.
Expected finishing time is 5:00pm.
If you would like to join us on the walk please contact Francis at fbuner@gwct.org.uk.
And please bring suitable shoes for a farm walk!
