The Foraging Feast, held on 14th May at Kitchen W8, was a memorable evening that brought together an enthusiastic and generous community of supporters. The restaurant was filled, creating a fantastic atmosphere, with a mix of familiar faces and new ones coming together in support of the GWCT. During the evening, Nick Hesford, Director of Scotland, gave a fantastic talk on the important work currently being carried out across Scotland.
Guests were treated to an exceptional menu that celebrated the very best of seasonal and foraged ingredients. The dishes were both imaginative and beautifully executed, including Roe Deer Tartare and Wild Rabbit Croquettes. Crispy Pheasant Eggs paired with St George’s Mushrooms were a particular highlight, and the evening concluded on a sweet note with a refreshing Elderflower and Gooseberry Fool.
Thanks to the generosity of our guests and supporters, the evening successfully raised over £10,000 for the GWCT, an incredible achievement that will have a fantastic impact. We are immensely grateful to Kitchen W8 for hosting such a special event and for their unrivalled hospitality throughout the evening.
