We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) for this year’s film festival. This collaboration represents an incredible opportunity to celebrate our shared passion for fly fishing, community, and conservation efforts worldwide.
The F3T is a traveling roadshow that showcases the best fly fishing films from around the globe. Each year, filmmakers submit their work, and the selected films are screened in various hometowns, bringing stunning visuals and inspiring stories to audiences everywhere. This isn’t just a film tour; it’s a celebration of the fly fishing community and a platform for advocating conservation.

At GWCT, we believe in the importance of fostering community connections and conservation efforts, and the F3T aligns with our mission. The film tour is not only about watching exceptional cinematography but also about creating a vibrant community atmosphere. Each evening features a live emcee, exciting raffles, and door prizes generously donated by our premium sponsors and local fly shops. It’s a chance to come together, share our love for fly fishing, and raise funds for the waters we cherish.
Founded in 2006, the F3T has consistently brought the thrill of fly fishing to audiences across the USA and Canada for 18 consecutive seasons. The recent merger with the Rise Fly Fishing Film Festival has expanded the tour’s reach, allowing it to showcase films in more than 14 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, and Argentina. This year, the combined tour will host over 300 shows, making it the largest community fly fishing event in the world!
Whether you are a seasoned angler or just starting, we invite you to kick back, enjoy a drink, and immerse yourself in the captivating stories told through stunning cinematography. It’s the perfect way to get excited about the upcoming fishing season while supporting vital conservation efforts for our beloved waters.
We encourage everyone to check out the F3T schedule for showings throughout the UK and Scotland:
