Grouse moors

Yet more nonsense from a government agency that knows little of how to manage the countryside for the wider benefit of the wildlife , and cares even less if their obsession with flooding the skies with birds of prey is anything to go by. Put several millions into conserving Curlew , Lapwing , Capercaillie etc etc etc , and those who really know how to manage the land may start to show a modicum of respect . Until then , having everything eaten that nests on the ground by aerial predators will do nothing to bolster relationships .

This document looks like it’s trying to teach grandma to suck eggs. As if the land managers game keepers and estates need to know how a safe honest and law abiding shoot needs to be run. A useless piece of legislation that gives nothing to anyone that already tends the countryside land and grouse shooting. Scottish government wasting tax payers money where it’s not needed

Yet more nonsense from a government agency that knows little and cares even less about the negative impact of their I'll judged decision making. All this in the name of one particular bird type . Put some time , effort and money into preserving Curlew stocks , Redshank ,Lapwing etc etc etc...... you may then perhaps gain a modicum of respect from the land managers who really do know how the countryside works.
