On 5 and 6 July 2023, ADA, the association for flood and water management authorities throughout the UK, are hosting a unique working demonstration and exhibition highlighting innovations in sustainable water management and flood resilience. Flood & Water Live 2023 will be held in Carrington near Boston, Lincolnshire in partnership with Dyson Farming and the local Witham Fourth District Internal Drainage Board.
The live event will utilise adjacent watercourses and embankments, enabling visitors to discover the latest plant machinery, pumps, and maintenance equipment in action. Exhibitors will demonstrate their most recent carbon friendly kit combined with procedures for delivering biodiversity enhancement when managing watercourses and water infrastructure.
As part of the event, Dyson Farming will be arranging tours of their Carrington farm, giving a behind-the-scenes look at their 15-acre state-of-the-art glasshouse strawberry production. Discover how Dyson Farming use local biomass to provide power and benefit the strawberry growing through anaerobic generation.
