The Upland Research Group of the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust would like to invite you to their Northern England Grouse Seminar, which is to be held on February 28th 2023. Following the success of the event in spring 2020, the day will once again be held at the Cedar Court Hotel in Harrogate with a capacity for up to 300 delegates.
The programme features an array of internal Trust and external speakers and will include presentations on moorland management for the conservation of ground-nesting birds, including our Green Recovery Challenge Funded Merlin Magic Project and Hen Harrier Conflict Resolution work, and some alternative results from the Langholm Moor Demonstration Project, together with the latest research on various peatland management initiatives.
The details of a full programme will be available online soon. Tickets will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis and will cost £50 each, which will include refreshments and lunch on the day. Please send any enquiries to Marie at mjewitt@gwct.org.uk
