With curlew in decline in the UK, the Curlew Recovery Partnership (CRP) is hosting a series of regional workshops in late June and early July, giving anyone interested in curlew conservation to chance to learn more about curlew conservation and discuss concerns and opportunities in their local area.
Each session will start with an introduction from the CRP Chair, Mary Colwell or Project Manager, Russ Wynn. Anyone with an interest in Curlew conservation is welcome to attend with regional groupings to focus on the challenges in particular areas. Do feel free, however, to attend a workshop outside your home region if the date is more convenient.
The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust has been involved in the CRP since its launch in March 2021, which came about following Curlew Recovery Summits hosted by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales on Dartmoor in March 2018 and at Highgrove in February 2020.
All workshops run from 6.30pm-8pm, and you can book your place today at:
If you are unable to attend any of these sessions, or you would prefer to provide feedback by email, then please contact the CRP at hello@curlewrecovery.org before Monday 04 July.
