What would you do to help Britain’s wildlife?
This September we're encouraging our members and supporters to take part in the GWCT Walk for Wildlife in order to help raise vital funds for our important conservation work.
Why should I take part?
Nature has provided great comfort for so many of us over this difficult past 18 months. Joining the GWCT Walk for Wildlife will help support our scientists who are working harder than ever to boost Britain's biodiversity. Plus - who doesn't feel great after a good walk?
How do I take part?
- It's simple. Choose where you want to walk and how far (as little or as much as you like).
- Pick a day in September to do it.
- To raise money for your walk simply create a JustGiving fundraising page following the very simple instructions below (it takes less than 5 minutes).
- Share it with your friends and family by email, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.
Creating a JustGiving fundraising page
To get started create a JustGiving account (or log in if you already have one).
After you have confirmed your address the screen below should be displayed, confirming that you are taking part in the GWCT Walk for Wildlife. Check your Gift Aid and communications settings and then click 'Create your page':
Your page will now be displayed. Click 'Edit your page' at the top of the screen if you wish to change any of the details including providing information about the walk you plan to do:
