In just a few days’ time, GWCT will be returning to Hatfield House for the 61st Game Fair (July 26th to July 28th).
Our stand G742 – in a prominent place next to the Game Fair Theatre - will be selling delicious bacon sandwiches and hot/cold drinks throughout the three days.
We’ll be kicking things off with our renowned press breakfast on Friday at 8am, with a high-profile list of journalists set to attend.
They will hear presentations on the following topics;
- An update on General Licencing – director of communications Andrew Gilruth
- The launch of our Working Conservationists part two which features the efforts of land managers to restore British wildlife – specialist writer Joe Dimbleby
- Shoot Benchmarking results 2018-19 – head of advisory Roger Draycott and Savills’ Paul Hutchinson
We will also be launching our 2018 fisheries report.
As in previous years, we have a range of advisory experts on hand to answer any questions you have as well as Dave Butler from Perdix Wildlife who will display and talk about the use of traps.
There will be unlimited Wi-Fi, kindly supplied by Stephen Roberts of C&R Technology (click here for info about their special offer).
At the back of the stand we will be serving bacon rolls in the morning. Tea/coffee and soft drinks will also be available for members and their guests. We will be taking card this year as well as cash. There will be tables and chairs where members can sit in our garden.
We shall have sun cream and a light medical kit in case of emergencies but please remember to stay hydrated and protected as the heatwave continues!
