THE UK’s first hunting film festival is raising funds for GWCT’s vital research into woodcock.
The Pace Brothers and The Northern Shooting Show have come together to present the DNA Hunting Film Festival, which takes place on May 11th.
It’s proven to be extremely popular, with tickets already selling out.
The festival will be sharing world great stories as well as showcasing what it means to be a hunter in the modern world by embracing the concept of conservation of wildlife and sustainable harvest.
Organiser Byron Pace, of sporting filmmakers and photographers Pace Brothers, said: “We hope this encourages a new wave of people who want to share their journey. More than that, I hope it encourages organisations and business connected with the shooting industry, to embrace a more supportive role when it comes to portraying positive messages about hunting and hunters.”
Funds from ticket sales will go to support the GWCT’s woodcock research, as we continue to further our understanding into what is driving their decline.
