We're hosting our very first Farmer Clusters Conference on 12th October where you will have the chance to hear first-hand accounts of running a Farmer Cluster and the opportunities it provides. A range of farmers, facilitators and advisors will be speaking at the conference, including James Phillips of Natural England.

New wader count training courses that GWCT Scotland is rolling out across the country stem from a working partnership encouraged by Working for Waders, a Moorland Forum initiative. The wader counts help the farmers, keepers and land managers to carry out the monitoring themselves.

As Chris Packham climbed up on the Ifor Williams flatbed trailer the sky dramatically darkened. The stage, at the RSPB’s Rainham Marsh reserve in Kent, was set for another fire and brimstone Hen Harrier day ‘address’.
