GleadellSo what does a respected agricultural arable merchant have to offer? We are making available a wide range of cover crops to meet your needs and if not – tell us what we are missing!

Gleadell have developed a simple to use e-platform which currently includes 50 different game cover options, as well as greening and environmental crops, grasses and forage – which can be ordered at any time of the day or night, so no need to wait for our offices to open. We like to think we have compiled one of the widest ranges of game cover options, available in one location perfect for busy shoot managers and gamekeepers.

As a company Gleadell have a long established name in the arable seed sector and are really excited about extending our recognised high quality and service focus into the wider seed sectors including grass seed, environmental mixtures and game cover.

Ensuring the site was simple to use and works across all devices was a critical area of focus - so providing you have an internet connection you can either place your order in the office or the field, paying by debit or credit card or if you have traded with us before you can pay by account. .

To ensure shoot managers can achieve the best from their cover crops, Game cover is available as mixtures and straights and our range of varieties and formulated mixes offer a wide range of combinations to suit all requirements.

For anyone unsure on exactly what they require we offer product descriptions and outline the role each should play; we also provide a crop selector table providing information such as pack size, crop purpose (cover, feed or nectar), utilisation period and crop duration, as well as agronomy notes on seed dates and rates and fertiliser requirements. All orders are normally delivered within 48 hours.

Other crops on offer include Gleadell’s greening and environmental options, which include cover crops to rebuild fertility, improve soil structure and control pests, as well as numerous stewardship grass and wildflower mixtures.

It’s likely that many of the options and mixes we are offering will be compatible with the next Countryside Stewardship scheme in 2016.

The grass seeds range includes short, medium and long-term leys as well as specific haylage and silage mixes and equine leys. Forage crops include rape, kale, fodder beet, stubble turnips and root mixtures.

Have a look what is on offer here and if you need any help or advice just get in touch and I will be happy to help.
