BASIS Course in Conservation Management - 1st March
We kick off the month with a joint conservation management course with BASIS (Registration) Ltd at our Allerton Project which will provide participants with a recognised professional qualification in farmland conservation.

GWCT Race Day – 3rd March
Join us at Taunton Racecourse in Somerset for the GWCT Race Day. Tickets are £48 per person, which includes entrance, race card, finger buffet lunch, and access to a private room.

Rodenticide Training Day, Dumfries – 10th March & Leicestershire - 14th March
Following on from the popularity of last year’s Rodenticide training days we’re running more dates this year. This one-day course is important as it allows gamekeepers to go on controlling rats using professional rodenticides after a Health and Safety Executive deadline of 1st July 2016.

Workshop: Cover crops and clay soils – 11th March
We’re hosting a free on-farm workshop with the Welland Valley Partnership at our Allerton Project covering the practicalities and research of cover crops and clay soils. There will be a range of guest speakers and the Campaign for The Farmed Environment will also be present to answer questions about cover crops and greening. BASIS and NRoSO CPD points are available for attendees. Very limited places available.
