As 2015 draws to a close I thought it might be interesting to identify the 10 most-read blog posts published by the GWCT this year.
In August we moved our blogs to the main GWCT website having used Google’s ‘Blogger’ platform since 2013. This has enabled our readers to easily find all of our blog posts from across the charity in the same section of our website. It has also meant that our readers can now leave comments on each blog, something they have been keen to do on hot topics such as lynx reintroduction.
Whilst our 10 top blog posts of 2014 were dominated by the hen harrier issue, our 10 most-read blog posts in 2015 span a variety of subjects:
- Game Fair Update
- Sir Ian Botham joins the English hen harrier debate
- Should lynx be reintroduced in England and Scotland
- Why have three hen harriers disappeared?
- Hen harriers - the Hawk & Owl Trust calls everyone's bluff?
- Latest Breeding Woodcock Survey results published
- 2015 CLA Game Fair in pictures
- RSPB backs pheasant shooting - with GWCT research
- Our letter to The Guardian: pine martens and capercaillie
- Do we need predator control?
