This one-day course will address the legal aspects of the various methods of corvid control employed by keepers as well as the equipment required and best practice advice. The methods covered will be:
- Larsen traps
- Multi-catch traps or big cages
- Decoying
- Roost shooting
- Targeting crow nests
The day will involve an indoor session addressing topics such as the legal framework (where relevant) and equipment required, whilst the outdoor session will look at best practice with demonstrations of fieldcraft and some handy tips.
