After our successful reintroduction of water voles to a Herefordshire river which was derelict in 2002 and still mink-infested in 2006, we would like to share our ongoing experience with other conservationists, from the private individual to organisations such as wildlife trusts, farming and wildlife advisory groups, and river managers.
Visits to the River Dore are possible if there sufficient numbers of people, or we can bring a workshop programme to the venue of your choice, offering practical guidance on mink control, river habitat restoration and water vole reintroduction - the three elements critical to the success of any future reintroductions of this charismatic Biodiversity Action Plan species.
Planned dates are listed in our events calendar, or contact Lizzie Herring to register your interest.
